Privacy Policy
Orbit Drop is a single-player merge game. It works without an account and without the internet. This page lists exactly what the game collects, why, who else sees it, and how to delete it.
What the game stores on your device
Your progress (scores, streak, Stardust, missions, skin sets, settings) is kept on the phone. Nothing on this list leaves the device unless you use an online feature below.
What is sent to our servers, and why
| Data | Used for | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| An anonymous account id (Firebase Authentication). No email, name, or phone number is asked for. | Telling players apart on the daily leaderboard, leagues, and challenges | Until you delete your data |
| Daily Cosmos and league scores, with the recorded inputs of the run | Percentiles, league tables, and checking that a score is genuine | Scores 30 days after the day or week; run inputs the same |
| Challenge links you create (the seed, your score, your run inputs) | Letting a friend play the same sky against your ghost | 30 days |
| Your 4-letter player code and, if a friend's link brought you here, their code | Referral rewards | Until you delete your data |
| A push notification token, your usual play hour, streak length, and last Daily date (only if you turn notifications on) | At most one reminder a day | Until you turn notifications off or delete your data |
| Purchase tokens from Google Play | Verifying purchases and the Cosmos Pass | Until you delete your data |
Services from other companies
- Google AdMob shows the ads. It receives your advertising ID and device information. In the European Economic Area and the UK you are asked for consent before any ad request; elsewhere you can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Players who tell us they are under 13 receive non-personalized ads only. Google's advertising policy.
- Firebase (Google) provides the anonymous sign-in, the database, push notifications, crash reports (Crashlytics) and usage analytics (events such as "run ended", never the contents of anything you type). Firebase privacy.
- Google Play Billing handles purchases. We never see your payment details.
No other analytics, attribution, or advertising partner is used. If a mediation partner is added to the ads later, it will be listed here before it goes live.
Children
Orbit Drop is not designed for children under 13. Before the first shared daily sky the game asks your age once; under-13 players get non-personalized ads and no name on any leaderboard.
Deleting your data
In the game: Settings → Delete my data. This removes your scores, challenges, referral links, notification token and purchase records from our servers and resets the game on your phone. It cannot be undone.
Without the app: use the deletion request page. Quote the 4-letter player code shown at the bottom of Settings.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw ad consent at any time (Settings → Ad privacy options). Email privacy@orbitdrop.app. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date above changes and the game shows a notice on the home screen.
